Snugly fitting partial dentures without any metal showing

When a person has some healthy teeth left, but is missing several, a partial denture can restore their smile by providing a complement piece for their existing teeth.

Traditional partial dentures are held in place by metal clasps that go around existing teeth to hold the partial ones in place. These clasps are visible. Dr. Antonious handles the problem of wire or clasp visibility using what are called precision partial dentures.
Precision partial dentures have the additional advantage over traditional partial dentures of having a much tighter fit, allowing for better chewing and for a more comfortable experience overall.

As you can see in the photos below, on the left we have a model of existing teeth. The tooth on each end has been crowned with a metal ring attached to it. The precision partial dentures have matching pieces that attach to those rings and anchor the false teeth firmly in place for a snug, precise fit.

Here you can see the bottom of the above precision partial dentures model. This single piece fits over the gums and attaches to the rings on each side of the person’s teeth so no metal wires or clasps can be seen.
